MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A crash has shut down several lanes on northbound Interstate 270 Wednesday morning, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS).
MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer said the crash happened in the local lanes just before Shady Grove Road.
One person was evaluated at the scene for what officials described as non-life-threatening injuries.

A photo shared by Piringer showed a vehicle crashed into a guardrail along the highway.
