NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. (7News) — Maryland is getting a major boost to its growing artificial intelligence sector.
Cloudforce plans to expand its headquarters at National Harbor in Prince George’s County, adding 250 jobs over the next five years while retaining more than 130 existing employees, Gov. Wes Moore announced.
The AI platform company will lease another 15,000 square feet of office space, effectively doubling its headquarters footprint.
Cloudforce considered other locations across the D.C. region before choosing to remain in Maryland, citing the state’s technical workforce, universities and business environment.

“Cloudforce’s expansion and continued commitment to Maryland is a win for our state’s workers, students, and our future,” Moore said.
The company, which was named Microsoft’s 2025 global Education Partner of the Year, develops the nebulaONE AI platform used by institutions including the University of Maryland, UCLA, London Business School and the University of Oxford.

Maryland is offering Cloudforce a $1.25 million conditional loan through its Advantage Maryland program. Prince George’s County is also offering a $125,000 conditional loan, and the company could qualify for additional state and local tax credits.
The expansion will also include efforts to recruit interns, recent graduates and other early-career Maryland workers into AI-related roles.
