
HALETHORPE, Md. (WBFF) — Officials are investigating a chemical explosion that happened Monday evening in Baltimore County.
During the evening of August 17, crews were called to a multi-level building located in the 1400 block of S. Rolling Road in Halethorpe, near UMBC’s campus, for reports of a chemical explosion, fire officials said.

At 5:18 p.m., the fire was extinguished.
There were no reported injuries.
The building was evacuated.
