BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WBFF) — A week after two 19-year-olds were found shot to death inside a car at a Baltimore County condominium complex in Essex, police say they have made an arrest in the case.
Baltimore County Police announced an arrest Monday in connection with the double homicide at the Waterford Landing Condominiums on Banyan Woods Court. Police said a 22-year-old man is in custody, but they have not released his name.

The victims were identified as Izick Aminartey and Donielle Mock, both age 19, police said. They were found on August 10 inside a car and both had been fatally shot.
Neighbors said the discovery left the community shaken and calling for accountability.
“I pray that the families can get justice,” Shae Reid, a concerned neighbor, said.
Reid added, “It’ a horrible thing that happened. And I’m just praying that the people who are responsible would get caught and again, condolences for the families.”
Another resident, who asked to protect her identity and identified herself as Linda, said, “It’s devastating. It’s devastating for the people that lost their lives. It’s devastating for all of us because we’re frightened. Apparently strangers came here and did this and the people that were shot, don’t live here. And now, there are two families that are grieving tonight.”
Investigators have released few details about what led up to the shootings or a possible motive, and they have not said what led them to the suspect.
Police said the suspect’s identity and charges will be released after he appears before a court commissioner.
