ROCKVILLE, Md. (7News) — A mother and her young child were hospitalized after a crash in Rockville Monday night.
According to a spokesperson with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, the crash happened at 8:25 p.m. at the intersection of Chapman Avenue and Twinbrook Parkway.

A mother and her young child, both pedestrians, were hit by a vehicle, MCFR said, and the vehicle slid onto an embankment.
Both were taken to receive medical attention.
