17-year-old arrested after spitting at officer in Fells Point: police

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A 17-year-old girl was arrested early Sunday morning after spitting at an officer in Fells Point, according to Baltimore Police.

On July 12 around 4:28 a.m., officers were called to the 400 block of South Broadway for a common assault.

There, police found a small group of people beginning to leave the area. That’s when a 17-year-old girl spit at an officer when she was asked to leave the area, authorities said.

The juvenile was then arrested and taken to juvenile booking for processing.

This comes after police said officers safely dispersed a crowd Saturday night in Fells Point.
