BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A 67-year-old Maryland man pled guilty in federal court on Tuesday to child sex abuse crimes, according to the Maryland U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Luis Borunda of Essex has been charged with sexual exploitation of a child, coercion and enticement of a minor, and distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
From at least July 2023 through August 2023, Borunda snapchatted and texted with a 15-year-old girl, who he ended up meeting during a trip to California.
On the trip, Borunda engaged in sex acts with the teen girl, and recorded it.

Authorities arrested Borunda after he followed through with plans to meet with who he though was an underage girl for sex.
During the arrest, law enforcement also found that Borunda owned devices on which he stored CSAM.
