The Harford County Sheriff’s Office identified a victim who died and another who was injured in a shooting at a house party in Fallston on July 5.

Authorities said that they responded to a “chaotic and rapidly evolving scene” in the 2300 block of Willow Vale Drive after receiving reports of a shooting.

The Sheriff’s Office said that the shooting occurred during a large party at a home.

Officials said that the homeowner was not present at the home during the party, and was notified shortly after the shooting.

The party was organized by the homeowner’s adult son, and authorities said that tickets were sold for the party through an online app.

Armed security personnel had been contracted for the party and were on-site at the time of the shooting.

Authorities identified the victims as Jordan Jennings, 23, of Windsor Mill, and Joseph Evans, 34, of Owings Mills.

Jennings died of his injuries at a hospital, and Evans remains in stable but critical condition.

Officials said both victims appeared to have been shot outside the residence.

Authorities said that the motive and circumstances of the shooting are still under investigation, and no charges have been filed yet.

The Sheriff’s Office said that due to the large number of attendees from Washington DC, Baltimore, and outside Harford County, this process will take time.
