BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD (WBFF) — Baltimore County Police have closed the missing-person case of Bryant Williams after confirming he was seen alive months after his disappearance — but his family says they still have no idea where he is and are questioning how thoroughly the department investigated his case.
Williams’ twin sister, Brandee Williams, said detectives showed the family surveillance footage of Bryant last week picking up prescriptions inside a Walgreens pharmacy in April and again in May, but would not say where the store was located, and told the sisters they could not force Bryant to get in touch with them.
She said the family still does not know where Bryant is or whether he is safe.
The Baltimore Sun previously reported that Baltimore County detectives were slow to investigate Bryant’s disappearance and failed to take several basic missing-person investigative steps. The family believes detectives did not aggressively pursue the case until after The Sun began asking questions, and was frustrated with the treatment Bryant’s case received.
