PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A child was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries after a shooting in Prince George’s County on Thursday, officials said.
The Prince George’s County Police Department said officers were sent to the 300 block of Tayside Way around 7:45 for a report of a shooting.

“Preliminarily, we can confirm a child suffered a gunshot wound inside of a residence,” PGPD said. “The child was rushed to a hospital and is critically injured.”
The police department said detectives and investigators would be working through the night to find out what happened.
