MARYLAND (WBFF) — A Coastal Flood Watch is in effect for Anne Arundel County from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday, according to the Anne Arundel Office of Emergency Management.
Moderate to major coastal flooding is possible during the watch.
Officials urge residents to monitor conditions and be prepared to move to higher ground if flooding occurs.
A Coastal Flood Advisory is also in effect for the county until 10 p.m. Sunday, with minor coastal flooding possible.
Residents are urged to secure outdoor furniture and gather emergency supplies in case of flooding.
