
BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Crews rescued a male from the Patapsco River Sunday afternoon after he tried to flee Baltimore Police.
Shortly before 1 p.m. on August 2, a male suspect was trying to flee from officers and jumped into the water in the 2600 block of Boston Street, according to authorities.
The scene was across the street from Safeway and near Professor Trash Wheel in the city’s Canton neighborhood.

The unidentified male was safely rescued and taken into police custody, officials said.
It’s currently unclear why the male tried to run away from officers.
