PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (TNND) — Pinellas County deputies stepped in to finish a pizza delivery Tuesday after the driver was involved in a crash, bringing the order to a hungry customer themselves.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office released bodycam video showing deputies taking the bag from the driver and heading to the customer’s home.
“Cold pizza? Not on our watch,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook.
When they arrived, one deputy asked, “You waiting on a pizza delivery?”

“Yes, sir,” the customer replied. “I definitely appreciate it.”
The sheriff’s office said the customer lived nearby, and deputies knew how disappointing a late order could be.
