BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A 15-year-old girl was found with a stab wound in northwest Baltimore Thursday night, officials confirmed.
Officers responded to a reported stabbing on October 22 around 9:30 p.m. at the 3800 block of Belle Avenue.
Once on the scene, police located the girl, who was being treated by medical staff.
Police said the victim told officers that she had escaped from a basement in the area and was stabbed by an unknown male.
Officials reported that the victim is still sedated and is expected to survive the injury.
Detectives are still investigating the incident.
