Firefighters use extrication tool to free person involved in Harford County crash

One person was injured after a crash in Harford County Tuesday morning, officials said.

Around 9:30 a.m. on May 12, crews with the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and Aberdeen Proving Ground Fire & Emergency Services F-267 were called to a crash with a person trapped on Pulaski Highway and near Joppa Road in Joppatowne.

Crews used the HURST Jaws of Life, an extrication tool, to free the person. They were then taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to officials.
