BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Anne Arundel County Police arrested a Glen Burnie man in connection with an assault on Wednesday, said officials.
Brandon La Mar Harmon, 40, of Glen Burnie, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault.
On June 10, around 8:10 p.m., officers responded to the 7000 block of Ritchie Highway for an assault.
Upon arrival, officers observed an individual providing CPR to an unresponsive 59-year-old men, the victim was transported to an area hospital with a life-threatening injury.
Witnesses said the victim pulled into the parking lot in his vehicle, and was followed by Harmon in a separate vehicle.
Both men began arguing, and during the altercation, Harmon struck the adult man victim in the head with a tire iron and then fled in his vehicle.
Officers were able to locate Harmon based on vehicle information provided by witnesses.
