Homicide detectives investigate after 18-year-old fatally shot in northwest Baltimore

An 18-year-old woman was fatally shot on Saturday afternoon in northwest Baltimore, police said.

Shortly after 4 p.m. on May 9, officers were called to a home in the 3100 block of Baker Street, located in the Rosemont neighborhood, for a reported shooting.

There, officers found an 18-year-old woman suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound, according to officials.

Medics were called to the home and pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
