Kelsey Grammer’s ex-wife recalls ‘harsh’ text after end of 13-year marriage

Kelsey Grammer’s split from ex-wife Camille Grammer does not sound amicable.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alumna opened up about the end of her marriage, which was documented on the first season finale of the show.

“He sent me a text saying, ‘I feel no remorse for what I am doing,'” Camile said during her appearance on the “Humble Brag” podcast. “And that was very harsh because I was very much in love with him and I believed he was very much in love with me. We did have very many good years in our marriage, and a lot of fun times.”

Camille and the “Fraiser” star were married from 1997 to 2010 and share two children together, daughter Mason and son Jude. They finalized their divorce in 2011 and have reportedly never spoken since.

She explained on the podcast she and Grammer raised their kids by “parallel parenting.”

Camille did reach out after the divorce to tell his “machine” of people in his corner, including fans, to stop bashing her online and in the press.

“I remember calling him and saying, ‘Get your bulldogs off of me,'” she said on the podcast.

“I felt like I was getting kicked from every angle and I wasn’t getting a break,” she continued. “I couldn’t come up for air. It’s being thrown in the middle of the ocean without a life raft and drowning.”

Camille later married attorney David C. Meyer in 2018.

Grammer married his fourth wife, Kayte Walsh, in 2011 shortly after finalizing his divorce from Camille. He and Walsh share four children, Faith, Kelsey Gabriel, Auden, and Christopher, who was born in 2025 when Grammer was 70. He is also the father of Spencer Grammer from his first marriage and Greer Grammer from a past girlfriend.
