Earlier this month, the ATF announced Abdallah’s arrest and detailed that he was charged with federal possession with intent to distribute and federal possession of a machine gun.

Abdallah was employed by King of Smoke in Arbutus, Baltimore County.

According to newly obtained court documents, the investigation began with a tip back in December 2025.

In the criminal complaint, investigators wrote,

“ATF AGENTS RECEIVED RELIABLE INFORMATION THAT THE LOCATION SOLD MARIJUANA WITHOUT A MARYLAND CANNABIS LICENSE AND THAT ABDALLAH, AN EMPLOYEE OF THE SHOP, WAS SELLING FIRERAMS AND NARCOTICS FROM INSIDE KING OF SMOKE”

According to a spokesperson with the ATF, an undercover agent conducted five undercover buys and, in total, purchased the following.

  • Ten firearms, including three machine guns
  • 2,600 suspected fentanyl pills
  • One pound suspected methamphetamine
  • Three ounces of suspected cocaine

Abdallah waived his preliminary hearing.
