SEVERN, Md. (WBFF) — A traffic stop in Severn led to the arrest of a 34-year-old Laurel man after officers said they found a loaded handgun inside his vehicle.
Anne Arundel County police said that on Aug. 26 at about 3:15 p.m., an officer stopped a black Ford Taurus at Falcon Point Drive and Jacobs Road in Severn.
During the stop, police said officers recovered a loaded 9mm Trabzon handgun in the passenger compartment.
Police said the driver was arrested and charged.
Authorities identified the suspect as Roosevelt Jerome Brown, of Laurel.
