MARYLAND (WBFF) — A Lexington Park felon has been charged with selling firearms and fentanyl in multiple counties across Maryland, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland.
Paul Dewayne Dorsey, 46, faces 13 charges, including distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and felon in possession of firearms and ammunition.
Between November 2025 and May 2026, Dorsey reportedly sold 40 grams or more of fentanyl to an undercover officer on eight separate occasions, authorities reported.

During these transactions, officials said he also sold one or more firearms, despite being prohibited from possessing firearms due to a prior felony conviction.
Officials reported that Dorsey faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years and a maximum of up to 40 years in prison for distributing 40 grams or more of fentanyl.

Additionally, Dorsey could receive a mandatory minimum sentence of five years, to be served consecutively to any other sentences, and a maximum of life in prison for possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime as well as a maximum of 15 years for possession of a firearm and ammunition by a prohibited person, according to officials.
