BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A man accused of a string of break-ins across Baltimore County is now in custody and facing burglary, theft and firearm-related charges, police said.
Baltimore County Police burglary detectives charged 24-year-old Robert Hodges in connection with multiple burglaries reported in the Catonsville, Towson and Parkville areas.
Police said that on May 27, just after 1:30 a.m., officers responded to the 8600 block of Loch Raven Blvd. for a reported burglary in progress.
Responding officers located a suspect who had stolen an ATM before fleeing in a U-Haul vehicle. A brief pursuit was initiated but later discontinued.
A short time later, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office located the U-Haul within its jurisdiction and took the suspect into custody, police said.
