
COCKEYSVILLE, Md. (WBFF) — Baltimore County Police have charged a man in connection to a kidnapping of a Cockeysville Middle School student on Thursday.
Authorities announced that Oscar Bladimir Argueta Argueta, 34, has been charged with kidnapping and second-degree assault following the abduction on April 30.
Police said it occurred in the area of Vintage Court and Cranbrook Road.
Around 7:50 a.m., authorities responded to the school after a student had reported that she was abducted.

The student told officers that she was walking to school when she was approached by a man who identified himself as a family friend and persuaded her to get into his vehicle.
Authorities believe that man to be Argueta Argueta, and said that he then drove the student to multiple locations before dropping her off at the school.
Detectives located Argueta Argueta and took him into custody.
