
MARYLAND (WBFF) — With Maryland’s 2026 primary election nearing, state elections officials are urging residents to check their voter registration status and act before key deadlines.
The Maryland State Board of Elections reminded Marylanders that there are multiple ways to register to vote or update an existing registration ahead of the primary.
Maryland is at its strongest when residents make their voices heard in our electoral process, and that starts with registering to vote,” SBE Administrator Jared DeMarinis said. “By registering early and making a plan to vote, Marylanders take an active role in shaping the future through our democratic process.

State elections officials said a list of early voting locations will be posted online.
Voters registering in person should bring a document that proves where they live when they attempt to vote at their local polling place or early voting center.
