BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A Riverdale resident scored the Maryland Lottery’s biggest win of the week, taking home a $2 million prize from a “200X The Cash” scratch-off ticket, officials announced Monday.
The winning ticket was purchased at Riggs Grocery on Kenilworth Avenue, marking the largest payout among a string of big wins across the state between April 6 and April 12.
Two other players also claimed significant prizes during the same period.
A $500,000 “Gifts of Green” scratch-off ticket was sold at a Walmart in Severn, while a Powerball Double Play ticket worth $500,000 was purchased at a Shoppers in Largo. As of April 13, the Powerball prize had not yet been claimed.
Lottery officials said Pick 5 players also had a strong showing, with five $50,000 winning tickets and 25 tickets worth $25,000 sold statewide.

In total, the Maryland Lottery paid out more than $34.1 million in prizes during the week, including 56 tickets valued at $10,000 or more.
Several other notable scratch-off prizes were claimed, including a $250,000 “Money” ticket sold in Elkton and multiple $100,000 prizes purchased in Adelphi, Halethorpe, Middle River and Riverdale.
Additional wins ranged from $10,000 to $50,000 across various games, with tickets sold in locations including Perry Hall, Milford Mill, Baltimore and Gaithersburg.
Meanwhile, Keno, Racetrax and other draw games produced a number of five-figure payouts.
Among them were Keno tickets worth $10,000 sold in Landover and Camp Springs, as well as multiple Racetrax prizes exceeding $10,000 at locations across the state.
