The National Dog Day Festival returned to The Rotunda in Baltimore’s Hampden neighborhood on Saturday, bringing dogs, their owners and animal lovers together for a day of pet-friendly activities benefiting the Maryland SPCA.

The free event featured pet games, local vendors, adoption visits for dogs and cats, live music, food and drink vendors, pet photos and live pet portraits.

Attendees could also purchase a “PAWS-Port” for their dogs, with proceeds benefiting the Maryland SPCA. The pass granted access to three Maryland SPCA-hosted activities including hot dog bobbing, paw painting and a make-your-own dog toy station.

Dogs were welcome at the festival but were required to remain leashed.

The Rotunda also offered guests up to four hours of free garage parking.
