PHOTOS: Under Armour Next All-America Home Derby and Game at Oriole Park at Camden Yards

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Under Armour and Baseball Factory hosted the UA Next All-America Game and Home Run Derby Sunday at Oriole Park at Camden Yards for the second straight year.

Forty of the country’s top high school baseball players participated in the premier showcase event on August 30.

The Home Run Derby kicked off at 11:30 a.m. while the All-America Game between Team Roses and Team Pearls began at 1 p.m.

Outfielder Andy Lambert, of Laurel, was the lone representative for the state of Maryland. He played for Team Roses.

Organizers said the student athletes spent time at Under Armour’s headquarters on the Baltimore Peninsula where they got an exclusive look at the company’s latest innovations.

Both of Sunday’s events were open to the public with ticket proceeds going toward the Baltimore Urban Baseball Association (BUBA). The organization serves youth across Charm City “using baseball as a catalyst for positive programming, community connection and empowerment.”

Fans also created custom signs and messages in support of players at the Zebra Pen Creation Station, hopped in the Bat Around gamified batting cage and stopped by the Fanatics Topps Truck.
