Weber’s Farm spent the weekend serving up its 10th Annual Strawberry Festival, mixing fresh treats with plenty of family fun.

The festival ran from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days and features food trucks, live music, kids’ entertainment, and plenty of strawberry-themed goodies.

Joe Liquori, who attended the festival with Justin Moore, said a lot is happening beyond just strawberries. “The Strawberry Festival, they got live music, actually really great food,” Liquori said.

Moore also gave a nod to one of the vendors: “Shout out to Box Hill Pizzeria.”

Liquori said the drink options go well beyond the classic strawberry flavor. “It’s not just strawberry slushies either, like they have blackberry pineapple and things like that,” Liquori said. Moore added, “And everything is fresh, it’s not just from store-made, it is actually grown. Fresh.”

For Liquori, the festival’s animals are a big draw. “They got animals. I love animals,” he said, adding that the live music keeps things lively throughout the day.

The two said this was their first time at the Strawberry Festival, though they’ve been to other events at the farm. “The strawberry one, yes, but we went to the Peach Festival, I think it was two years ago,” Liquori said. Liquori said he’s been to “blackberry, peach, and then now strawberry,” while Moore added, “And I only came to the pumpkin patch.”

They also leaned into the fun with themed outfits, something they said is a family tradition. “That’s what our family does, we try and be dorks about it, I guess,” Liquori said.
