COLUMBIA, Md. (WBFF) — Howard County police are investigating after an employee was shot inside a Shell gas station in Columbia on Friday night.
On April 17 around 7:43 p.m., officers were called to a gas station in the 7200 block of Cradlerock Way for a reported shooting, police said.

The adult male victim was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with serious injuries, according to authorities.
The preliminary investigation found that one suspect fired shots during an attempted robbery before fleeing. No one else was injured, police said.
