Police investigate Inner Harbor stabbing, assault involving group of juveniles

A 38-year-old man was hospitalized after he was stabbed and assaulted by a group of juveniles Friday night in the Inner Harbor area, according to Baltimore police.

On May 8, around 11:20 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Light Street for reports of a cutting.

Upon arrival, officials found the victim suffering from apparent stab wounds to the body as well as a head injury, police said.

Medics transported the victim to a nearby hospital.

Officials reported that a preliminary investigation indicated that the victim was approached by a group of unidentified juveniles who assaulted and stabbed him.
