Police Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting in Gaithersburg Area

GAITHERSBURG, Md. (7News) — Montgomery County police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in the 9600 block of Lost Knife Road.

The Montgomery County Police Department announced on social media that officers were at the scene on Sunday. The department did not immediately release information about what led to the shooting or whether anyone was injured.

A public information officer was en route to the scene, according to police.
