Purple Alert issued in Baltimore County for missing man with neurodevelopmental disorder

A Purple Alert has been issued as Baltimore County police search for a missing 58-year-old man with a neurodevelopmental disorder, according to an announcement made Wednesday.

Authorities say Dwayne Webster was last seen around 9 a.m. on May 11 in the 1900 block of Greenspring Drive.

Due to concerns for his well-being, officials have activated a Purple Alert, which is used in Maryland to help locate vulnerable adults who go missing.

Police describe Webster as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 225 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a gray hat, black hoodie, gray pants, and white sneakers.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen Webster or knows his whereabouts to contact 911 or call the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-887-2361.
