The next weather-maker moves in Wednesday with scattered to widespread showers by the afternoon and evening with near normal temperatures.

Rain chances
The weekend comes with a more uncertain chance for rain. Another storm system develops and tracks eastward. The current track keeps the rain just south of Maryland but there is a chance these showers will reach more north. This means there is a chance of showers early Saturday.
Cooler temperatures will move in for the weekend with the potential for some frosty nights Saturday and Sunday.
