A Maryland Lottery player scored the state’s biggest prize of the week after a winning Racetrax ticket sold in Rockville netted more than $106,000.

According to Maryland Lottery officials, the winning ticket was purchased May 25 at a 7-Eleven on Rockville Pike.

The player correctly selected a 4-7-3-9 Superfecta in the Lottery’s computerized horse racing simulation game, Racetrax, and added the Bonus option to the wager.

The winning combination would have paid $10,622 on its own. However, a randomly selected 10-times Bonus multiplier boosted the prize to $106,220.

As of June 1, the winner had not yet come forward to claim the prize.

The 7-Eleven that sold the ticket, located at 11530 Rockville Pike, will receive a bonus of $1,062.20, equal to 1% of the jackpot amount.

The six-figure win highlighted a week in which Maryland Lottery players claimed nearly $29.7 million in prizes statewide. Lottery officials reported that 28 tickets worth $10,000 or more were sold during the week of May 25 through May 31.

Among the other major winners were two scratch-off players who each claimed $57,777 prizes on the Triple Red 7s Tripler game. One winning ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven in Glen Burnie, while the other was purchased at a Weis store in Prince Frederick.

Additional notable prizes included a $50,000 winning scratch-off sold in Bethesda and a $20,000 winner sold in Gwynn Oak.

Several other players across Maryland claimed or purchased winning tickets worth $10,000 or more through scratch-offs, FAST PLAY games, PICK 5 drawings and Racetrax wagers.

Lottery officials reminded winners to sign the backs of their tickets and store them in a secure location until they are redeemed.

Prizes exceeding $25,000 must be claimed at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore by appointment.
