Laurel, Md. (WBFF) — A traffic stop in Laurel on Friday morning resulted in an arrest and the recovery of a loaded handgun, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
On July 17, around 1:10 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a 2023 Chevy Malibu in the 3400 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road.
It’s unclear why the officer initialed the traffic stop.

During the stop, the officer found a loaded handgun in a satchel beneath the driver’s seat.
The driver, identified as 24-year-old Xavier Graves of Silver Spring, was arrested and charged accordingly.
