Skeletal remains found in Baltimore County tributary positively ID as missing NJ woman

The skeletal remains found last week have been positively identified as 46-year-old Kimberly Gordon, a New Jersey woman who was reported missing after she was last seen on June 21, police said.

Around 11:25 a.m. on July 17, officers were called to the area near the interchange of Route 702 and Interstate 695 for a report of possible human remains.

When officers arrived, they located the skeletal remains in a tributary of Back River.

The remains were taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner where an autopsy was performed.

The cause and manner of Gordon’s death remain under investigation.
