Stephen Colbert has been happily married for over 30 years, but if he wasn’t, he’d have options.

During a recent episode of the “Strike Force Five” podcast, the late-night host told a story that, let’s be real, was probably just an excuse to brag. “We were going around the table once at dinner with some friends of mine, and this guy’s going like, ‘So, who’s your hall pass?’ Whatever like that,” Colbert said. “And the guy next to me, a friend, goes, ‘Paulina Porizkova.’”

Colbert explained that this dinner happened during the time he was filming “The Colbert Report” for Comedy Central, then revealing, “I pulled up my phone, opened the People magazine app on [my] phone, and I was Paulina Porizkova’s hall pass.”
The rest of the “Strike Force Five” podcast, made up of fellow late-night hosts John Oliver, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, and Seth Meyers, seemed impressed by the news, and Colbert appeared pretty pleased with himself. “That was a flex I’ve never ever been able to match on this guy.”

When the news originally came out in 2007, Colbert did a bit about it on “The Colbert Report,” saying, “I never asked to be a sex symbol, it just gets foisted on me.”
He went on to show a clip from an episode of “Good Morning America,” in which Porizkova said, “If it wasn’t for the fact that I’m already very happily married, and so is he apparently, he is just my kind of a guy. He’s so hot.”

It was a compliment so good, Colbert put it on a t-shirt.
