Stolen vehicle chase leads to juvenile arrest in Essex: Police

ESSEX, Md. (WBFF) — A juvenile was arrested Thursday evening in Essex after attempting to flee from officers in a stolen vehicle, Baltimore County Police said.

On August 27 around 5:35 p.m., officers were called to the unit block of Wiltshire Road in Essex for a vehicle theft that had just happened.

Police found the stolen vehicle, which they say refused to stop and attempted to escape police.

After a short foot chase, officers arrested a juvenile suspect and took them into custody, according to authorities. At this time, the juvenile’s age and gender are unknown.

The incident is under investigation.
