BALTIMORE COUNTY (WBFF) β A newly signed bill by Gov. Wes Moore will allow Baltimore County businesses to begin selling cocktails to-go β and local business owners, government agencies and community members are thinking aloud about its implications.
On Tuesday, Moore signed a bill that will permanently permit to-go cocktail service in Baltimore County. The news comes after a temporary provision, which allowed for the same service during the pandemic, ended in 2023.
The Baltimore County Board of Liquor License Commissioners will release to-go cocktail service applications for licensees on Monday, according to a statement to The Baltimore Sun from Dakarai Turner, press secretary of the Office of the Baltimore County Executive.
βThe Baltimore County Board of Liquor License Commissioners is preparing to implement the new state law allowing eligible establishments to apply for cocktails to-go permits,β Turner wrote. βThe Board is also working through updates to its Rules and Regulations with the Office of Law to help ensure the process is clear, consistent, and aligned with state law.β
