SUN: Baltimore Health Department headquarters to remain closed due to flooding

The Baltimore City Health Department’s headquarters at 1001 E. Fayette St. will remain closed through Friday as crews clean and repair the building following flooding, city officials announced.

The closure, which began Tuesday, affects the department’s main office and the permits office housed in the building.

Beginning Wednesday, the permits office will temporarily operate from the Eastern Health Clinic at 1200 E. Fayette St.

Services will be available from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
