BALTIMORE (WBFF) — An attorney representing Baltimore Ravens defensive end Calais Campbell’s brother, who is charged in the death of their mother, withdrew a request for bond in court on Tuesday.
Ciarre Campbell, 41, appeared in a courtroom in Fulton County, Georgia, for a bond hearing. Instead, the motion was withdrawn, and he remains in custody. Court records show he waived his initial court appearance earlier this month.
Ciarre Campbell also has a pre-indictment hearing scheduled for Thursday at 9 a.m., but it is unclear if this hearing will still take place. Attorney E. Jay Abt told CBS News Atlanta that they were canceling all of Campbell’s hearings for the week but did not comment further.
Ciarre Campbell faces four felony charges, including murder, aggravated assault and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony, in the death of his mother, Nateal Campbell, according to court records.
