A “potentially explosive device” prompted police to respond to MedStar Union Memorial Hospital on Sunday morning.
Baltimore City Police said around 6:18 a.m., a 36-year-old man was taken to MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in the 3400 block of Calvert Street for an injury to his hand.
Medical personnel removed the man’s belongings from the ambulance and discovered what police are calling a potentially explosive device.
