SUN: Ravens’ Rashod Bateman arrested in Georgia for alleged family violence

Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman is accused of family violence and was arrested in June in Georgia, according to online court records.

Bateman faces three charges from the alleged June 3 incident, including reckless conduct and first-degree criminal damage to property, according to court records. The battery-family violence charge is listed as a misdemeanor.

The details of Bateman’s arrest were not immediately clear.

“We are aware of the situation involving Rashod and have been in direct communication with him,” Ravens spokesperson Chad Steele said in a statement. “We notified the league office and have been cooperating throughout the process. As this is a pending legal matter, we will not have further comment.”
