BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A teenager was arrested and charged in connection with a shooting at a grocery store that left a man critically injured in Southwest Baltimore.
On Sept. 2 at about 10:47 a.m., officers responded to the 200 block of North Hilton Street after a shooting was reported.
Officers found a 41-year-old man with a gunshot wound and provided medical help before emergency crews took him to a hospital.
Police also discovered a 16-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his arm in the same area and he was also taken to the hospital.
Detectives say the teenager and the 41-year-old man got into a fight inside a business near North Hilton Street and North Kossuth Street. During the fight, both were shot and the 16-year-old left the scene but was quickly found nearby. Officers found a weapon during their search of the neighborhood.
After being released from the hospital, police brought the 16-year-old to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged him with attempted first-degree murder.
