MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A video shared by the Montgomery County Police Department shows two officers pulling a man to safety after he began climbing over a balcony railing.
In the video, one officer speaks with the man as he stands on the balcony. When the man steps over the railing, the officer grabs his arm and keeps him from falling.
A second officer joins in, and the two secure the man to the railing with handcuffs before helping him back over it and onto the balcony.
The video ends with a photo of the officers standing together. The department wrote online: “What started as a critical moment ended with a life saved and a reminder of the difference our officers can make when it matters most.”
