Baltimore County (WBFF) β Three people were arrested for stealing at least 150 pieces of jewelry and more than $14,000 from the Catonsville area since January, the Baltimore County Police Department announced Thursday.
20-year-old Mihali Alexandru, 26-year-old Versalona Nicu, and 23-year-old Mihaela Alexandru were arrested in connection with a series of robberies and thefts that spanned from January 6 through April 9.
According to officials, the suspects would ask victims for directions or offer them a blessing while inside a vehicle.

Victims would engage and be encouraged to come closer to or lean inside the vehicle.
Once the victim was within reach, the suspects would allegedly remove their necklaces before driving away.

More than $14,000 and over 150 pieces of jewelry have been recovered, according to police.
All three suspect were transported to the Baltimore County Detention Center and held without bail.
