Two separate stabbings in southeast Baltimore leave two men injured

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Two separate stabbing incidents in southeast Baltimore left two victims with injuries Friday night, said Baltimore Police.

Detectives are investigating both incidents and police say they do not have any information to believe the incidents are related.

On Aug. 7, at around 6:54 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of McElderry Street for a stabbing.

A preliminary investigation revealed the incident occurred in the alley of 532 N. Montford Avenue.

Officers arrived on scene and located a 42-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers received a call at around 7:19 p.m. for a second stabbing incident in the 2100 block of E. Federal Street.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the incident occurred in the 1700 block of N. Gay Street.

Officers arrived and located a 60-year-old man suffering from several lacerations.

At this time, the condition of the second victim is unknown.
