BALTIMORE (WBFF) — The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT) is warning drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians of weekday lane and road closures coming to the downtown area from Monday, Dec. 8 through Friday, Dec. 12.
Drivers are encouraged to download the Waze.com app for live detour navigation.

All activities are weather permitting and times are approximate, according to BCDOT.
Downtown lane closures scheduled for the week of Dec. 8-12 include:
- Baltimore Street eastbound left lane closures at Eutaw Street daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Eutaw Street southbound right lane closures at Baltimore Street daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Guilford Avenue southbound left lane closure at Baltimore Street daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Guilford Avenue lane closure (full time) between Preston and Biddle Streets (BGE pipeline project).
- Guilford Avenue reduced to one travel lane (full time) between E. Lexington and E. Fayette Streets.
- Monument Street lane closure (full time) between Guilford Avenue and N. Calvert Street through Fall, 2025 (BGE pipeline project).
- Maryland Avenue reduced to one travel lane (full time) between I-83 and Oliver Street (BGE pipeline project).
- N. Charles Street right lane closure (full time) between Saratoga and Pleasant Streets through December 2025.
- Pratt Street nightly lane closures between Light and President Streets on Sunday evening, Dec. 7, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning through Thursday evening, December 11 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning (Inner Harbor Intersection Improvement Project).
Drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians should be on the look out for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
