Woman dead after multi-vehicle crash in Bowie, 1 injured

BOWIE, Md. (7News) — A woman is dead and one person was taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Bowie.

According to the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS, units responded to the crash on 9th Street in Ducketsville just before 3 p.m.

Crews said one person was trapped in a vehicle and power lines were downed by the incident.

PGCFEMS said a woman died from the crash, and another person was taken to the hosputal with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

The streets in the area are closed, including the intersection of Lanham Severn and Ninth, as well as Maple and Ninth.
