Oxon Hill man charged with murdering stepfather after April fight

Prince George’s County Police are now treating the death of a 79-year-old Oxon Hill man as a domestic murder.

On April 3, officers went to a home on Fenwood Avenue after reports of a fight.

They found James Venable unconscious inside.

Delvin Graham, 47, was arrested at the scene and charged with assaulting Venable, who was his stepfather.

Venable died at a hospital on April 22.

Police believe Graham knocked the older man out during an argument.

Graham was indicted for murder on June 2.
